The GxNEXT Program which is part of the Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) is looking for a talented IT Operations Manager to support our customer’s mission by leading the definition, conduct, and execution of

thorough functional and regression testing and verification and validation of Enterprise Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities and services. The GEOAxIS system provides Identity, Credential and Access Management for all web applications. GEOAxIS enables online, on-demand, access to NGA GEOINT content based on user’s authoritative attributes/roles. Our Mission is to maintain highly-available Zero Trust and ICAM capabilities for protecting those critical mission applications across all security domains. The GxNext contract was awarded to Leidos in 2021 and runs until 2031.

As the Program's IT Operations Manager you will bring your expertise in network systems, cyber security infrastructure and accreditation, and new and/or upgraded software development and integration to operational environments. This Position supports critical operations for 50 CONUS and OCONUS Consumers.

You will be working in Chantilly, Virginia (occasional travel to Springfield, VA to visit the customer is required) with a team of highly specialized software and systems engineers and analysts, supporting the customer's most critical missions. You will be managing the Tier 2/Tier 3 engineering teams, and partnering with the security accreditation teams while working in collaboration with the development team to support upgrades to our Zero Trust and Identity and credential management ( ICAM) solutions. You will also occasionally travel to the Springfield Virginia customer site to develop intimacy and facilitate support.

NOTE: A US Government DoD security clearance at Top Secret SCI (TS SCI) level is required to be considered for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop a relationship with a high-profile customer and use your expertise to lead the development of NGA’s Zero Trust and ICAM roadmap ·

  • Maintain and improve our ICAM solution and infrastructure across multiple security domains

  • Be the primary point of contact for operational capabilities, managing communication, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and operational status

  • Manage all operations-related processes for the sustainment of the operational baseline including engineering, integration, and operations

  • Manage 24x7x365 support team and a Tier 3 engineering team

  • Support Service Level Agreement of 99.9% (three-nine) availability

  • Brief technical status to internal and external customers, as well as program and company leadership

  • Provide technical execution oversight to operations during operational incidents

  • Facilitate collaboration across operations teams and the SW development organization

  • Collaborate with stakeholders for enterprise projects and activities

  • Lead operations metrics collection and dissemination

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience in Information Technology operations and support. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Minimum 3 years experience maintaining cloud services to include at a minimum AWS

  • 3+ years of experience providing oversight to the completion of operational environment maintenance

  • 5+ years of experience leading an operations team and 3+ years managing server maintenance and support

  • 3+ years experience managing Tier 2 - 24x365 Helpdesk support to include Tier 3 on-demand for priority

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Oracle IdAM products.

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification desired

  • Must demonstrate experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile Scrum, A&A processes, Systems Engineering,

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
