Work you'll do

As an Accounting & General Ledger Senior Consultant with the firm:

  • You will be utilizing working knowledge of Governmental accounting concepts (i.e. USSGL, A-136, A-11 etc.) to assist clients through the review & validation of General Ledger transactions, accruals, trial balance reconciliations, tie point analysis and journal voucher entries
  • Responsible for including compilations and reviews of quarterly federal financial statements
  • Handling multiple tasks regarding A/P and A/R

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required
  • 5+ years of experience with Financial Reporting & Consolidations
  • Experience with FASAB standards, GAO, Treasury TFM required


Preferred:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certificate preferred
  • Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Certificate preferred
