Description

AHB WorkLife Division is seeking a skilled and experienced program manager to support our mission of enhancing the work-life balance and overall well-being of our employees. We are seeking a highly qualified PM, who will be responsible for understanding broadly WorkLife programs, drafting and editing communications, and assisting with customer support.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Management and Analysis:

  • Skill in learning existing programs and being able to assist with customer requests for information and briefings.
  • Skill researching and designing new programs and/or enhancements, securing approval and resources and implementing on a national scale.

Communication Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with the WorkLife Division team to develop and implement effective communications that align with organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Identify target audiences, key messages, and communication channels for various projects and initiatives.
  • Create clear and compelling communication plans to ensure the successful delivery of messages.

Content Creation:

  • Produce high-quality written content, including newsletters, articles, internal and external communications materials.
  • Develop multimedia content, such as videos, infographics, and presentations, to enhance engagement and understanding.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy and consistency.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including FAA employees, management, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, insights, and feedback for communication improvement.

Measurement and Analysis:

  • Implement performance metrics and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Use data-driven insights to make continuous improvements to communication plans and tactics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in communication strategy development and execution.
  • Proven ability to create engaging written and multimedia content.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, and communication software/tools.
  • Proficiency in design and presentation software such as PowerPoint, Prezi, and Canva for creating professional presentations and flyers.

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience working in the aviation industry or a similar complex organization.
  • Familiarity with FAA policies and procedures.
  • Certification in project management or communication strategy.

Note: This position may require occasional travel to FAA HQs

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
