Project Management Intern
Description
The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) Accelerator maintains a deliberate culture of technical collaboration & best practice sharing across the corporation to enhance solutions, technical discriminators, and maximum re-use of differentiated capabilities. To achieve this mission, a Project Manager intern is needed to support administrative and operational activities. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be well connected with the Accelerator team and others across the organization to influence outcomes. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with strong communication skills and able to adapt to changes in a rapidly growing and evolving organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Support various AI/ML upskilling projects and initiatives
Develop and update AI/ML intranet sites
Publishing content in various content management systems
Providing administrative support as needed and undertake project tasks as required
Monitor inbox and communicate with external partners & vendors
Assisting project managers with various project management tasks
Creating schedules and tracking documents for projects
Prepare and assist in project documentation, monitor project progress, measure project performance and suggest areas of improvements
Support AI/ML Upskilling team with various activities including but not limited to: researching new e-learning opportunities, podcasts, books, and webinars
Assist with other ad-hoc projects as needed
Basic Qualifications
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business or other related degree, maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA
Completed at least 2 years toward their degree and have demonstrated a record of high performance and a willingness to learn and grow
Relevant skills in project management, business or technical experience is highly valued for consideration
Strong interest in Data Science or AI/ML
U.S. Citizenship is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong quantitative skills and detail oriented
Basic skills in problem solving, prioritization and time management
Ability to quickly learn new techniques/skills
Ability to Work in a team environment and work under pressure
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a variety of
Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to think outside the box and identify issues, providing resolutions quickly
Must be adaptable and able to manage and prioritize diverse projects

Pay Range:
Pay Range $38,350.00 - $69,325.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
