Job Summary

SURETY:

This position is designated as an unescorted access position and is subject to the requirements of the Unescorted Access Program. As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, urinalysis testing, respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel suitability and reliability requirements established by the PCD Commander.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / TASKS:

· Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.

· Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.

· Be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record.

· Upon completion of preventative maintenance, enter information in applicable tracking system.

· Receive, properly store and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment such as measuring devices.

· Keep record of tools issued to and returned by workers.

· Search for lost or misplaced tools.

· Prepare periodic inventory or keep perpetual inventory and requisition stock as needed.

· Unpack and store new equipment.

· Visually inspect tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and report worn/damaged equipment to supervisor.

· May attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using an electric marking tool.

· Assist in the coordination of calbiration of tool room equipment by outside vendors.

Inspect, maintain, and operate advanced measurement equipment.
Perform audits of custody transfer and control data.
Perform quarterly formal inspections of site fall protection equipment.
Ability to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, document, and complete work with minimum supervision.
Ability to work from written and verbal instructions.
· Participate in regulatory inspections.

· Monitor, inspect, and report owned mobile equipment malfunctions.

· Ensure the safety, environmental, manufacturer, and site compliance of GSA vehicles and owned mobile equipment.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain equipment reliability.

· Perform forecasting, tracking, and scheduling of hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies, test equipment and mobile owned equipment.

· Generate and maintain labels for site safety inspections and permanent plant systems and equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

This position includes participation in the PCAPP Employee Retention Incentive Benefit Plan, which provides a financial incentive encouraging personnel to remain employed by Amentum at the PCAPP project through a specified timeframe provided qualifiers are met.


Minimum Requirements

REQUIREMENTS / SPECIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/equivalent and minimum of 4 years’ related experience.
  • Familiarity with wide range of tools and equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of generally accepted warehousing concepts.
  • Must be a US Citizen or naturalized citizen able to obtain and maintain PCAPP site access.
  • Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, varying hours and/or rotating shifts.
  • Must be willing and able to work in an industrial environment that is in close proximity to and/or in a chemical demilitarization facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Have general understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Have general understanding of property and inventory control processes.
