Job Summary

The IT Integration Analyst conducts analysis, design, evaluation, testing and implementation of new integrations; Acts as a liaison between individuals/work groups and the technical teams in identifying, evaluating and developing systems; Distinguishes actual business needs and identifies complex business processes that may be improved with integrations. Additionally, the IT Integration Analyst identifies the root cause of problems and creates logical and innovative solutions and will coordinate efforts with other IT groups to address business or system issues.

What are the primary responsibilities and essential functions of this position?

• Technical software analysis, development and automation, system configuration, change management, troubleshooting, and information assurance.

• Provide life-cycle support, including maintenance, administration, and configuration management standards.

• Identify technical problems, troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software issues, and engineering technical solutions.

• Coordinate and hold briefings to address technical problems and/or recommend next steps and improvements for new and existing systems.

• Update functional and technical specifications and standards in support of systems and application requirements.

• Perform technical research and testing, as well as provide documentation of technical problems and resolutions.

• Perform periodic systems reviews to verify compliance and provide accurate information to all technical groups.

Refine technical requirements by working with stakeholders, end-users, and technical counterparts to identify “best-fit”

technical solutions to meet business and workflow requirements.

• Participate in identifying solutions and opportunities for systems improvement.

• Assist in understanding of end-user requirements.

Describe work experience required to perform job:

• Demonstrated on-the-job experience providing a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components.

• Demonstrated on-the-job experience recommending test and evaluation strategies for major systems’ installations.

• Demonstrated on-the-job experience preparing test, deployment plans, and providing coordination in the analysis, and installation of software.

• Demonstrated on-the-job experience coordinating with other team members and ensuring problem solution, appropriate risk reduction, and user satisfaction.

• Demonstrated on-the-job experience in technical writing, interpersonal communication skills, and presentation/training skills.

List REQUIRED software proficiency:

• Experience with version control system such as Team Foundation Server, Subversion, or Git

• Experience with relational database system such as Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL

Describe DESIRED additional qualifications, experience or proficiencies of your ideal candidate:

• Experience with Visual Studio

• Experience with SharePoint

• Experience with Apache Tomcat

• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio

• Experience with digital records keeping systems

• Experience with asset management systems


Minimum Requirements

A Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, and 5 years of related experience are required. Excellent communications and analytical skills required. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
