Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a Financial / Budget Analyst to join our cyber team ONSITE in Washington, DC.

Essential Responsibilities: Perform financial budget analyst support for Navy programs. Candidate will review spend plans, expenditures, monitor funds to and from the sponsor and monitor funding status of contractors supporting the program.

Responsibilities:

- Reviews and prepares financial plans.

- Determines the availability of financing across each program.

- Identifies sources of financing, analyzes alternatives, and recommends financial institutions.

- Maintains schedules of outstanding funding.

- Prepares analysis of accounts receivable, and administers the collection of past due receivables.

- Develops computerized models for financial statements, cash flow projections, debt service schedules and other financial studies.

- Prepares other financial analyses and evaluations as requested.

- Records and prepares daily summaries of financial activities.

- Under close supervision, performs a variety of assignments requiring the knowledge and ability to select and apply standard financial techniques, procedures and criteria.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or 8 years equivalent experience in Finance.

- Good oral and written communication skills.

- Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications.

- Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work.

- Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications

- Skills and demonstrated experience developing financial plans, managing Government funding with Navy ERP experience.

-Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or demonstrated equivalent.
