Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Engineer at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach, VA.

You are imaginative and resourceful, using your skills in SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor/PSpice to simulate new designs. Your hands-on experience in printed circuit board design and electronics, as well as any Navy experience, makes you stand out in this role. While you are self-reliant, you also enjoy collaborating ideas as a part of a team. Your focused, dependable nature is something special you bring to the team.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with established standards, guides, precedents, methods, and techniques within discipline.

2. Establish electrical and electronic engineering design criteria and provides guidance and evaluation for facility projects.

3. Assist in the development and recommend design approaches for new and improved products and or processes.

4. Conduct technical investigation involving the origination or modification of material, component or process specifications.

5. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

- A Bachelor’s degree from a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college OR university in an engineering, scientific, technical discipline or equivalent.

- At least 5 years 3D modeling and circuit design

- Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen

- Must have an active Secret security clearance

- Working knowledge of SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor/PSpice is a plus.
