Finance Analyst Opening! This is a 1st shift position with occasional weekends during peek business hours.

Responsibilities:

- Provides financial support including budgeting, and analyzing variances from budges vs. actuals.

- Applies principles of finance and accounting to analyze financial statements for monthly/quarterly/annual financial outlooks, annual operating plan (AOP), estimates at complete (EAC) and contractual deliverables.

- Prepares and manages accounting activities, transactions, preparing month end accruals, journal entries.

- Prepares analyses of accounts receivables, and administers the collection of past due receivables.

- Prepares monthly invoices, backups, and submits timely billing to customers.

- Completes unbilled analysis for the project.

- Identifies opportunities of cost savings for Operations and acts as the business advisor.

- Works closely with operations, support financial reportings for the client, and helps maintain financial health of the project.-

- Creates and maintains project codes based on contract, purchase orders, and line items.

- Keeps good documentation of contracts and purchase orders.

- Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or demonstrated equivalent.

- 5 years or more experience in accounting, finance or related field.

- Must possess a strong background working with multiple contract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus (CPxF) T&M and hybrid accounts.

- Requires project management or project control experience working with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Cost Accounting and Financial management systems, work authorizations, process management systems, and/or reporting.

- Requires a broad knowledge of financial field and the ability to complete difficult assignments.

- Must have the ability to analyze problems for root cause and identify corrective actions.

- Advanced/Expert Ecel Skills, should be extremely comfortable with MS Excel or other similar desktop tools that provide capabilities to collect and analyze inforrmation.

- Strong organization skills, analytical ability to perform detailed work.

- Good oral and written communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills.

= Working knowledge of work processing and integrated software applications.

- Ability to travel locally and up to 10% out of state travel.

- Must have Valid Drivers License.

- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- Advanced Project Modeling skills

- Excellent Project Management skills

- Proactive, process and results driven, able to set priorities and commit to deadlines

- Excellent judgment and ability to manage diverse stakeholders

- Superior communication skills and the ability to express complex ideas clearly

- Highly analytical and detail oriented

- Experience in Costpoint, Essbase, Hyperion, Cognos, Project Accounting, Revenue Recognition Principles
