Strategic Communications Planner (MISO Planner)
Job Summary
Amentum is seeking a dynamic and innovative Strategic Communications Planner to provide research and analysis on information related capabilities, plans and operations in support of U.S Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) at Camp H.M. Smith, HI.

You will conduct research, both unclassified and classified, on various topics supporting ongoing and emerging operational concepts and plans, distilling that research into recommendations for Strategic Communications integration into OPLANS, CONPLANS, and contingency planning. In addition, you will research and develop Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) and Measures of Performance (MOP) by which to assess the effectiveness of INDOPACOM's plans and operations.
You will also provide assistance to senior-level strategic planning and briefings, including preparing formal papers and background information for USINDOPACOM senior leader consumption. You will provide research and analysis of various pertinent national security policies, military strategies, vulnerability assessments, threat and intelligence assessments, in order to identify areas of concern, inform planning efforts, and develop new concepts.

Minimum Requirements
At least 10 years of combined experience managing complex programs and projects in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal agencies
At least 3 years of experience in an information related field, such as strategic communications, public affairs and/or Military Information Support Operations (MISO)
Experience developing communications themes and messages
Experience implementing information/communication plans for military operations
Experience in writing reports, graphics and information papers
Experience analyzing operational data
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and SharePoint collaborative tools
Due to the nature of work, must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have an active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility after your start date
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
TS/SCI clearance
Experience in coordinating with other Department of Defense (DoD) entities, including the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and INDOPACOM's Service Components as well as non-DoD organizations such as State Department
