Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Lead Human Resources Generalist. This position will lead the Human Resources function for our Bethel, CT manufacturing facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

• Talent – Recruit, assess and select top talent based on business needs. Partner with the corporate recruiting resources and hiring managers to select top talent in a timely manner. Develop, retain key talent, strengthen talent acquisition with a focus on diversity for future roles to drive the organization forward.

• Culture & Organization Effectiveness – Understand the business strategy and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability. Drive culture change to align the organization performance and adopt actions where gaps exist, process change, coaching and training. Ensure organizational practices align with the Eaton Leadership Model.

• Performance Management – Drive the performance management system to assure annual employee job assessments are conducted. This includes annual goal setting, assessment process and periodic feedback sessions that strive to raise the performance bar in the organization. Provide coaching, counseling to leaders on effective performance management.

• Employee Communication – Foster two-way communication within the organization.

• Coaching, Counseling and Facilitating – Provide guidance and direction to leaders on human resource management policies, processes and systems.

• Training and Development – Manage the processes to facilitate employee development and seek new improvement opportunities to implement.

• Legal Compliance – Ensure the business complies with local, county, state, and country legal requirements in all areas of employment and employment administration.

• EBS (Eaton Business System) - Participate in EBS activities such as an Eaton MESH (Management Environmental Safety & Health), OpA (Operations Assessment) category owner, Employee Listening Survey Champion.

• Compensation - Administer compensation programs for both hourly and salaried employees to assure competitive pay practices.

• Employee Relations – Promote positive employee relations and employee engagement.

• Ensure all initiatives around Inclusion & Diversity, Wellness, and Culture are understood and executed at the site for both hourly and salary personnel.

• Develop and delivers training to address skill or competency gaps for both hourly and salaried workforces.

• Deploy and support all HR initiatives, programs, processes and systems as required and assigned.

• Support and execute the deployment of HR Special Projects as assigned by the DHRM.

• Support the development and deployment of HR Functional Excellence initiatives through the execution of Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• Be responsible for the New Employee Talent Management Lifecycle – including but not limited to the following: creation & maintenance of salaried position questionnaires, requisition creation & tracking, interview scheduling and coordination, offer letter creation, & on-boarding of new hires.

• Coordinate training and development programs to meet the needs and objectives of individuals and groups as required and assigned.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of two (2) years experience in a Human Resources generalist function.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or MBA with an HR concentration from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a Human Resources generalist function within a manufacturing environment.

• PHR/SPHR certification.
