Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a HR Training Coordinator. This position will take place at our Hodges, SC facility. The HR Training Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating essential site-wide learning and development initiatives for the Hodges facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $52499.97 - $76999.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the coordination and maintenance of site-wide training programs for a workforce of ~250 fulltime and contingent workers. Programs may include, but are not limited to OJT Checklists, Site-wide Annual Training Plan, Training Plans for manufacturing workforce, New Hire & Temporary Checklists, & Eaton University.
  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation and modify content as needed to ensure an effective onboarding experience for new team members.
  • Develop content utilizing various media including, but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, video & photography.
  • Serve as the community liaison and coordinate outreach events in support of talent development partnerships with local schools, military installations, and other organizations.
  • Partner with functional leaders to update training content, maintain training records, and ensure compliance with internal systems and programs.
  • Manage site-wide training updates & communications via monthly reports, newsletters, meetings & monitors.
  • Be responsible for coordinating the setup and content compilation for monthly All Employee Meetings
  • Collaborate with local IT to maintain standards and scheduling for the computer training lab.
  • Support special projects, internal & external benchmarking and facilitate training sessions as assigned.
  • Drive for continuous improvement and support 5S+ initiatives in support of a Zero Incident Culture.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Business from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years experience supporting administrative processes.
  • Minimum 2 years experience developing presentations and/or training content.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Greenwood/Hodges facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3 years experience supporting executive administrative processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word).
  • 1 year experience developing video content.
  • 1 year experience supporting HR processes.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to support multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment while meeting set targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and MQ1.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams without authority.
  • Self-motivated / directed individual with well demonstrated written and verbal skills, along with great organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Effective meeting facilitation skills and demonstrated ability to present to large audiences.
  • Attention to detail and thorough analytical skills.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.
  • Ability to manage conflict while maintaining a professional posture.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach at or above shoulder level; grip; and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop; lift; carry; push; pull; and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 35 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 35 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination.
