If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAn employee in this position will join HR Delivery team responsible for operational aspects of various IBM employee programs and policies within our organization.Activities performed by the team include execution of HR programs and policies, advisory on programs, policies and tools involved, consulting on design of new solutions or changes to existing ones, data maintenance in HR systems, documentation handling, reporting and analysis, business control and audits, and vendor management, where applicable.The scope of this position will include selected processes and areas covered by the team, especially payroll process and activities as follow:+ Ensures successful delivery of payroll services in support of IBM legal entity, in line with local legal regulations, corporate policies and procedures+ Acts as a subject matter expert and primary focal in respect to payroll and time, social security and personal income tax+ Manages relationship with payroll supplier+ Monitors key performance indicators, identifies opportunities for improvement and drives changes to do faster, deliver better results and enhance client's experience+ Manages payroll operations - inputs, outputs and relevant controls, accurate and timely processing of payments to employees and local authorities, booking to ledger, internal and statutory reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually - as required), handling employee queries and other incoming questions/requests+ Supports time management activities (absences and attendances)+ Cooperates with upstream / downstream processes, internal functions (primarily HR, Finance, Treasury, Accounting), external payroll supplier and local authorities+ Ensures alignment of process design, procedures, guidelines, and systems used to legal regulations, corporate and business requirements+ Supports internal and external audits, inspections and requests+ Leads special projects and initiatives toward successful completion, and or contributes as requiredThis position will require frequent teaming within HR Delivery and may involve collaboration with other IBM functions locally or outside the country.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Knowledge of local payroll and time related regulations and best practices+ Hands-on experience in international companies preferred+ Master's degree in accounting, finance, HR or labor law+ Ability to absorb professional knowledge quickly and develop skills+ Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships+ Ability to set priorities, deliver high quality work within the required deadlines+ Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills+ Focused on continuous improvement at work+ Knowledge of HR and payroll systems, Workday experience is a plus+ Proficiency in MS Excel+ Good English writing and speaking skillsPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment+ Payroll experience+ Knowledge of HR systems including Patnik+ Great communication skillsAbout Business UnitIBM Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) team represents a variety of functions such as marketing, finance, legal, operations, HR, and more, all working together to solve some of the world's most complex problems, help our clients achieve success and build collaborative work environments for IBMers.Your Life @ IBMWhat matters to you when you're looking for your next career challenge?Maybe you want to get involved in work that really changes the world?
