Job Summary

Purpose and Scope:

Under direction of an HR Director, HR Manager, or senior HR Generalist, provide human resource specialized support in one or more of the following areas: labor relations, employment/EEO, training, compensation, benefits, employee relations, or Human Resources Information Systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Respond to employee inquiries on a variety of HR related issues.
- Advise employees on a variety of HR issues.
- Research appeals and may participate in issue resolutions.
- Support activities associated with the Collective Bargaining Agreements related to current programs or contract operations.
- Coordinate and process personnel actions into the HRIS system.
- Review documentation and coordinate resolution for completeness and proper approvals.
- Prepare standard reports in response to manager or customer queries.
- Provide support to employees on benefit plans.
- May prepare documentation and conduct new employee orientation.
- Assist in maintaining filing systems.
- Position may require intermittent CONUS or OCONUS travel.
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of academic/technical/certification training and associated work experience. Possess at least 3 years of job-related experience in Human Resources role. Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance. Possess a valid state issued driver’s license. Position may require the ability for intermittent CONUS or OCONUS travel.

PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP certification
HR Experience in the DoD Contractor Industry
Active DoD Secret or TS Clearance
Local candidates - (No Relocation Allowance)
