Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description:
The Mission Cloud Platform provides cloud computing services to missions across NASA. You’ll help to develop and maintain common tooling and infrastructure to allow mission tenants to provision cloud resources in a secure and centrally managed environment that meets NASA and federal security requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Help to develop common infrastructure to allow mission tenants to securely provision resources.
- Ensure compliance with NASA and federal security policies.
- Manage cloud network security & IAM configuration.
- Continually improve security-related monitoring and automation.
- Support mission tenants with any security-related issues at the infrastructure level.
Experience:
- 5+ years of cloud security experience, ideally with federal government
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong knowledge of networking and operating systems
- Virtualization, VM image builds & security hardening
- Containers & Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- IaC / GitOps - Kubernetes manifests, Terraform, etc
- Cloud-specific penetration testing tooling & techniques
Technologies:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience
Pay Range:
Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
