If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a experienced and organized security analysts with security architect, security developer, or security engineer experience to join and help drive the security & associated privacy of IBMs products, offerings, and applications - cross brand and cross IBM. A strong candidate will understand key security and privacy issues, risks and threats, and be able to apply this expertise across many different IBM business situations via internal consulting and threat assessment types of activities. Success in this role requires expertise is in security, privacy, compliance, and applicable regulations, as well as a solid understanding of security as applied to cloud, containers, and other 'next gen' technologies.Key Characteristics:+ Expertise in analyzing and translating business requirements into control objectives, design security controls, and implement them along with security management cycle+ Experience in analyzing and translating security legal requirements in control objectives+ Experience researching emerging security trends and technologies+ Experience in performing threat assessments and security review, as well as driving remediation of identified thread and vulnerabilities+ Experience in IT Security and/or privacy related audits+ Ability to identify business, legal, and technical requirements, and perform technical evaluation of these items+ Experience with agile execution+ Strong written and verbal communications skillsRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ Prior IT experience that encompasses a spectrum of typical IT roles (e.g. infrastructure, applications, strategy, operations, etc)+ Familiarity with current trends and developments in cloud (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS), information security, and data privacy+ Practical knowledge of a wide variety of technologies, platforms and functional areas, including experience with cloud technologies and deployment models (e.g. containers, platform services, software defined networking, API security, credential management, encryption, etc)+ Understanding of IBM's cloud services, as well as the cloud services and security practices of other industry leading cloud providers (Amazon, Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday, Box, etc)+ At least basic knowledge of common Cyber Security and Privacy regulations and industry standards, and the common security controls associated with such+ Experience with legal, regulatory, and audit activities typical in the IT industry+ Solid understanding of IBM's matrixed organizational structure+ Ability to communicate business needs to technical people, and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical people+ English fluentPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Certified in Cloud (e.g. Cloud+), Security (e.g. CISSP), or Privacy (e.g. CIPP/CIPT)+ PMI certification and/or IBM Agile Achiever badgeAbout Business UnitIBM Systems helps IT leaders think differently about their infrastructure.
