Work you'll do

  • This role is a full-time position within the D.C. area. The team has an opportunity for a professional to support to an agency's enterprise security authorization program, and assist with a variety of cyber related activities, including the following:
    • Supporting efforts related to risk management, governance, policy, program management, technology, architecture, incident response, contingency planning, continuous monitoring, workforce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53 Revision (Rev.) 4 & 5 security controls
    • Leading timely completion of client deliverables and work products
    • Developing recurring presentations in support of cyber program activities with a keen attention to detail, grammar, and formatting
    • Facilitating discussions with a broad range of stakeholders and executives to assist with developing, implementing, and sustaining an enterprise security authorization program
    • Identifying opportunities for efficiencies in program processes and developing innovative approaches to solving complex problems
    • Participating in team problem solving efforts and offering ideas to solve client issues
    • Getting acclimated with the client business environment and risk management concepts
    • Work within an integrated team of cybersecurity professionals

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
  • Experience going through the NIST Risk Management Framework
  • Experience developing and/or reviewing outputs as a result of the RMF processes
  • Ability to develop security documentations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate and be flexible with a cross-functional team

Preferred:
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)
