Legal Business Services - Senior Manager

Work you'll do

As a Senior Manager in Legal Business Services supporting our practice, you will lead teams of experienced professionals to help clients transform and efficiently manage all aspects of their legal operations and compliance programs. You will have the opportunity to transform through the combination of people, process and technology incorporating analytics, machine learning, automation, and/or other AI solutions. You will contribute directly to delivering first class consultative services to our clients, and your role will include engagement leadership, sales and pursuit support and leadership, eminence, solution design and service delivery inclusive of implementation and operations, as well as, coaching and mentoring of practitioners.

Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Manage delivery of large, complex, or multiple smaller simultaneous client engagements
  • Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects
  • Responsible for the development of business and vendor relationships
  • Manage pursuit teams focused on new opportunities and manage /deliver aspects of the proposal development process
  • Responsible for project(s) financials including development and management of budget and engagement performance
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and Deloitte team
  • Establish relationships in strategic client positions; lead, and facilitate these relationships
  • Display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
  • Provide counselling/coaching, leadership and support for delivery teams and staff
  • Develop deep followership by investing in the development of your respective teams
  • Invest in cross functional and global relationships to enhance the solution sets being provided to clients and provide for further collaboration
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or another Business-related field
  • 8+ years of Forensic, Investigative, Legal and/or Discovery industry related experience
  • 4+ years in a technical or functional lead role
  • Experience leading CLM implementation programs
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others by listening carefully and providing timely, honest and comprehensive feedback
  • Demonstrate empathy while driving results
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing executive level client relationships
  • Experience creating and presenting transformative value propositions to key decision makers that demonstrate the creation of long-term business value
  • Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
  • Proven track record of consistently attaining managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Experience in 1 or more of the following technologies

Technology Experience Preferred:
  • Contract Lifecycle Management and Extraction: Kira Systems, Seal Software, Eigen, Exari, Icertis, Apttus, Oracle, SAP Ariba, Evisort, Pramata, SalesForce
  • eDiscovery: Relativity, Reveal, iPro, Brainspace, Reveal, Encase
  • Other Technology: ServiceNow, Litify, iManage
  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project, Visio

Preferred
  • JD or MBA
  • Financial Service contract experience
