What you’ll be doing...

As a Principal Engineer-Technical Project Management, you will be working on managing the Projects Portfolio by assisting in developing, implementing and maintaining Intake/Demand, Project Management and Solution Delivery Life Cycle policies, standards and procedures

  • Act as a liaison in a decentralized environment, reinforcing the process and standards for all Portfolio Leads, Project Managers, Demand Managers, Technical resources and Business Analysts.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining the establishment of frameworks to house multiple delivery methodologies, including Agile/SCRUM, Waterfall, Infrastructure Solution Delivery and Project & Program Management lifecycles.
  • Lead objective delivery assurance methods and run consistent quality exercises (formal project gate reviews) across all portfolios.
  • Monitor process and project quality and take corrective action to ensure projects are compliant with standards; Scope includes compliance on project schedule, scope, budget, risk and issue management.
  • Document and escalate noncompliance issues.
  • Create a governance framework specific to quality metrics to generate concise status and dashboard reports for project teams and leadership.
  • Help identify lessons learned that could improve processes for future projects.
  • Deliver training sessions & deploy communications associated with updated process and on-boarding.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Agile practices, DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, Continuous testing, Software Quality Principles, Advanced Test Methodologies, Best Practices and Procedures.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering fields.
  • Understanding Quality Metrics, KPIs, Data Visualization, Data Analytics and its impact on IT organizations, Testing Maturity Models and how they are applied to increase maturity of quality and IT organization, to enable continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in test methodologies and integration of business applications to achieve an efficient testing effort that delivers a quality system to its customers including the following areas.
  • Ability to translate product requirements into development goals and work breakdown.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of distributed Cloud Native Micro services principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrating expertise with test management tools like qTest and HP ALM.
  • Demonstrating expertise with test automation process and tools like Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, worksoft Certify and UFT.
  • Experience with networking protocols or standard IoT protocols.
