Position Summary

The candidate, in working with our Digital Capability Managers (DCM), Support Capability Leads and R&ED IT Run Operational Excellence Services team members, will be responsible for developing Research IT technical and procedural documentation, and managing the quality and accuracy of Research IT knowledge objects and documentation utilized to support Research at Bristol Myers Squibb. The focus of this role is to review, manage, organize, and analyze Research IT knowledge to provide metrics and recommendations to improve the support model for in scope software portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

    • Strong problem-solving skills, strong verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Able to work independently and run projects with minimal oversight.
    • Responsible for the accuracy of all Run Operational Excellence knowledge data associated to Research IT assets.
    • Responsible for creating knowledge objects and documentation to support the Research IT software portfolio.
    • Responsible for developing knowledge management Run Books to help create a unified support model for Research IT.
    • Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of technical and knowledge management documentation.
    • Provides customer service support to authors and approvers.
    • Advises on identifying document type, identifying impacted stakeholders, review cycle including conflict resolution and approval.
    • Provides status and timeline updates, escalates risk and issues.
    • Advises on content for knowledge transfer.

    Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience working in knowledge management areas or similar roles.

  • Experience in ServiceNow and an understanding of how its functions relate to Knowledge Management.

  • Experience with ServiceNow reporting is a plus.

  • Responsible for supporting other team members and performing basic tasks with some oversight.

  • Collaborates and works with Research IT stakeholders to meet requests and understand demand.
