Project Manager

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Project Manager. This role will take place at our facility in El Paso, TX.

Reporting to the Plant Manager and dotted line to the Panel Boards and Switch Boards Sales manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the plant portfolio, managing shared resources across multiple projects and functions. Accountable for the oversight of the cross functional activities to assure execution of VA/VE, Cost-out and new product introduction (NPI) projects.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

• Setting and managing client expectations, developing a detailed project plan, defining the scope of the project, understanding project risks, and assigning team members to specific tasks.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Make strategic decisions regarding initiation and continuation of projects based on their alignment with organizational priorities and resource constrains for multiple projects with forecasted sales $10M+ ea.
• Create synergy among external entities and internal competencies, including but not limited to PL, Engineering, SCM, OPEX, Manufacturing.
• Monitoring compliance with engineering standards, company policies and procedures.
• Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
• Perform quality control over the project deliverables to maintain the standards expected.
• Develop a detailed project plans and track progress of the milestones achieved.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Manage timeline to achieve promise dates for projects forecasted.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Fluent in English
• Past experience within project management and product lifecycle management.
• Understanding of Switchboard Hyperscale Data Center customers.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, OPS, or similar design programs.
• Six Sigma green belt
• Experience with New Product Introduction methods.
