Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Production Manager. This position is located at our new El Paso, TX facility. Relocation assistance will be provided within the US/PR.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Eaton is seeking a Production Manager at a dynamic new brownfield manufacturing site supporting the rapidly growing demand for its electrical solutions in El Paso, TX.

The Production Manager will oversee and direct the Manufacturing team to ensure the achievement of the plant goals focusing on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory & cost attainment.

  • Lead and support Manufacturing processes and achieve levels according with business requirements.
  • Ensures EHS policies and procedures are achieved to maintain a secure environment for the employees.
  • Focus on EBS tools implementation (EQS / MESH / CI-Lean) in manufacturing processes.
  • Assures production objectives are met to effectively support metrics, within approved budget, schedules, and quality specifications.
  • Develop projects to improve productivity and efficiency across the Manufacturing area.
  • Develops improvements in production methods, standards, and procedures to assure effective use of resources.
  • Promote an environment of open communication and compliance with Ethics Standard Code.
  • Set strategies to accomplish with production schedules or orders and provides commitments, to impact Customer Services levels.
  • Establish capacity constraints / provide Man-load requirements to address flexibility at Manufacturing function.
  • Reviews production and operating reports, and assist in resolving operational, manufacturing and maintenance issues to ensure minimums costs and operational delays.
  • Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or operations
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical) Business administration, or Management from an accredited institution
  • Additional experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Total Quality Management, Statistical Process Control Techniques, Capacity Planning, and Inventory Management and Control

Skills:

  • An in-depth knowledge of all facets of manufacturing and manufacturing processes, including material planning, scheduling, equipment utilization, material flow, and manpower staffing
  • Strong administrative abilities to ensure proper budgeting expense control while providing overall direction to the manufacturing operation
  • Excellent Leadership qualities, ability to communicate to all levels of the organization; manage, consult, gain buy-in, and make key decisions based on employee welfare, legal requirements, and business objectives
  • English\Spanish (helpful, but not required) with good oral and written communication skills
