What you will do

As a Senior Quality Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide quality engineering leadership and direction in quality assurance, control, and preventative activities with a focus on continuous improvement of products and processes. This person will advocate and lead the execution of initiatives and projects to enhance quality performance within the business and for our customers. Mentor and provide technical direction across multiple areas of expertise. Develop and maintain processes related to the programs to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations; support the execution of these programs and processes to assure compliance to procedures and to maintain regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Will initiate and lead management of various quality initiatives in assigned areas including but not limited to, execution of field actions, change management, field service activities, returned product analysis and customer service problem solving.
  • Will initiate and lead the development of test methods, tooling, techniques, and procedures for parts analysis and investigation.
  • Will provide technical support and direction in the resolution of technical problems with dedicated test equipment.
  • Will provide support in the budgeting process of new capital equipment and equipment requiring routine service and/or maintenance.
  • Will initiate and lead the development and implementation of process documentation in support of the Customer Quality and Service Team(s).
  • Will be involved in the analysis of customer complaints related to manufacturing; internal to Redmond or our external partners, coordinating investigations and reporting of findings and recommendations.
  • Will provide support as required in the Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) process.
  • Will work cross-functionally to review failure trends and coordinate investigation, analysis, and corrective action.
  • Will provide project, department, and company guidance based on current and emerging needs relating to the management of field service and customer service requirements.
  • Will design, conduct, and develop reports for experiments to characterize and validate new or changed inspection and investigation processes.
  • Will establish test protocols to evaluate product changes for safety, quality, reliability, and regulatory considerations.
  • Will be involved in the investigation and design of new product designs and part analysis.
  • May support OUS partners for worldwide execution of field actions.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.

What you need

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 4+ years’ experience in quality, manufacturing or engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or science related field
  • Medical device or highly regulated industry experience
