Production Control Clerk Lead 2.1
Job Summary
Amentum has an exciting opportunity in Germany on the APS-2 for a Production Control Clerk - Lead.
The Lead is responsible for managing shop level production control activities for the Army Prepositioned Stocks 2 (APS-2).
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Provides leadership, direction and guidance to production personnel to ensure effective contract performance and compliance. Ensures required reporting and deliverables are completed timely.
- Reviews production data for accuracy and efficiency as it relates to volume of production, work schedules, consumption of material, quality control, product specifications and other aspects of production.
- Consults with PC Manager and other senior management, as appropriate, to provide status reports as required and to address challenges and resolve project discrepancies as they arise.
- Oversees and monitors PC personnel and processes to ensure adherence to established protocols. Works to develop innovative and effective performance enhancing operational processes.
- Ensures employees maintain compliance with technical instructions and all company and customer safety and environmental requirements and regulations.
- Maintains a professional, respectful and productive work environment.
- Ensures scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions are entered and completed in the Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS).
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Ensures all personnel understand and follow all Company and Government policies, procedures and directives.
- Ensure all personnel follow all Safety directives for APS-2. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of maintenance repairs on a variety of equipment.
- Knowledge and certification in GCSS-A Maintenance is required
- Ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.
- In the absence of the manager, perform those duties as directed.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required.
- Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all Logistics Information Management System (LIMS) access requirements (Common Access Card).
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English and preferably German.
- Ability to independently operate with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of logistics and maintenance.
- Must have demonstrated leadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor.
- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with other effectively.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. passport
- A valid US Driver’s License is required prior to deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Army War Reserve Deployment System / Maintenance Work Bench (AWRDS/MWB), and the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) is preferred but not required
- Background in in military production control is a plus.
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
