Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD is currently seeking a Production Supervisor (MCC Assembly) 2nd Shift at our location in Fayetteville NC. The position hours are 3:30pm to 12:00am Monday through Friday.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing employees in the assembly of Motor Control Center products for Eaton customers. The primary objectives will be to achieve results on the High 5 metrics (safety, quality, on-time-delivery, inventory, productivity), drive employee engagement, and develop the team to continuously improve.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $117700.04 a year. Relocation assistance provided to eligible candidates.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and drive to engineer out safety risk throughout the owned process.
  • Assist in establishing departmental goals that are challenging targets for the High 5.
  • Devise strategies with documented action plans to achieve targets.
  • Provide input to forecast and hold the team accountable to the process in order to meet commitments.
  • Determine the effect of production load and mix changes on staffing and department operations.
  • Follow up on the progress towards targets:
  • Improve quality assurance system by building quality into the process.
  • Effectively deal with opportunities identified by the team to help bring about positive resolution.
  • Drive a positive, inclusive high performance work culture through the establishment of clear expectations and accountability from and to the team.
  • Assist in prototyping and providing feedback regarding new product development.
  • Champion the Continuous Improvement Framework in MCC to drive High 5 results and impact Employee Morale.
  • Tailor action planning and strategic goals to provide customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required.
  • One (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing leadership related role required.
  • Three (3) years of work experience in a manufacturing related role required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or related manufacturing related discipline
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma background
  • Previous role/experience managing others in a manufacturing plant or warehouse.

Position Criteria:

  • Applying knowledge of manufacturing procedures/practices including Industrial Engineering principles, production planning and Lean/Six Sigma
  • Proficient in driving Quality Control and Inventory Control
  • Proven Leadership skills – capable of leading change initiatives and drive a high-performance culture
