Production Supervisor-PMO - Customs and Border Protection (CBP)

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor (PMO) is responsible for prioritizing and coordinating fleet-wide maintenance support; and managing repairable asset supply, mission equipment, and support equipment to sustain mission requirements at over 35 CONUS operating sites and maintenance facilities.

Integrate the top-level Mission Support and Maintenance Plan, Scheduled Maintenance Plan, and Resource Availability into the Daily Maintenance Plan
• Coordinate TDY Support Plan and Special Operations Support Plan for detachment support
• Conduct pre-TDY screening for travel restrictions, qualification/training status, security clearance, medical clearance, travel finance, travel card, and travel insurance
• Operate Traveler Help Desk to make/change travel and lodging arrangements for program personnel
• Coordinate base clearance, contacts listing, base services, workspace coordination, and communications
• Execute TDY contingency plans for lost communications, medical services, medical evacuation, hardship evacuation, disaster/danger evacuation, termination/suspension on TDY, and government shutdown
• Coordinate OCONUS TDY country clearance, inoculations, passport, visa, transportation, medical services, security services, insurance, personal/company export control, security notice, security briefing, trip report, and deployment kit export control, and tech data export control
• Travel Inputs to CDRLs
• Generate Contractor Travel Report
• Track repairable assets from removal to return to inventory by part number and serial number
• Establishes and maintains Repairable Item List (RIL)
• Identify internal & external MRO capabilities
• Estimate and track MRO budgets & schedules
• Process components eligible for exchange credit so obligated funds are quickly de-obligated and made available for other requirements
• Prioritize and direct removed aircraft Repairable Item (RI) component Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO) to sustain required stock levels
• Functionally supervises subcontractor and program back-shop personnel in production activities
• Coordinate Support Equipment, Mission Equipment, and Engine and Intensive Asset (high value, mission critical, or special use assets requiring more intensive management) availability to sustain operations
• Establish & implement In-House Repair (IHR) Plan for repairable items within 180 days or sooner following contract award for Director, Aircraft Material Readiness review
• Coordinate schedule and monitor throughput with internal and external MRO providers
• Track Due in From Maintenance (DIFM) for repairable item carcasses/cores
• Ensure the proper management of loaner and rental engines, blades, transmissions, and other high value assets required for all aircraft types
• Manage assets in order to provide advance placement of parts prior to installed items reaching TBO or timing out in order to maintain mission readiness
• Ensure removed assets are returned as expeditiously as possible to ensure availability for the next component change
• Ensure removed assets are stored in accordance with manufacture recommendations
• Establish and maintain Mission Equipment List
• Establish & implement Night Vision Goggle and Survival Equipment Inventory Control Procedure
• Coordinate requirements with Maintenance and Flight Operations
• Identify internal & external Support Equipment, Mission Equipment, and Engine and Intensive Asset MRO capabilities
• Estimate and track Support Equipment, Mission Equipment, and Engine and Intensive Asset MRO budgets & schedules
• Coordinate schedules with Support Equipment, Mission Equipment, and Engine and Intensive Asset MRO providers
• Monitor throughput with Support Equipment, Mission Equipment, and Engine and Intensive Asset MRO providers
• Provide direction to Sensor and Electronic Repair Center (SERC) subcontractor for Sensor and Communication/Navigation Equipment Maintenance
• Establish and implement Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Program
• Establish & implement Aviation Fuel and Petroleum Products (POL) Management Program
• Coordinate maintenance and operation of Forward Area Refueling Point (FARP)
• Coordinate FARP spill inspections & maintain records
• Manage fuel vehicle maintenance & operation, fuel vehicle fuel sampling, and fuel vehicle DOT Inspections
• Maintain Test, Measurement, & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)
• Establish and maintain GSE and TMDE list and periodic requirements in MIS
• Establishes and maintains FARP periodic requirements in MIS
• Monitor schedule and throughput with TMDE calibration providers
• Monitor and report FARP fuel quantity
• Coordinate GSE turn in for repair or overhaul with site GSE Mechanic
• Coordinate TMDE turn in for repair or calibration with site Calibration Monitor
• Establish (within 90 days of Award) & implement calibration program
• Establish (within 90 days of Award) Precision Measurement Equipment List (PMEL)
• Identify internal & external TMDE calibration capabilities
• Estimate and track TMDE calibration budgets & schedules
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent
• FAA Mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings

OR Five (5) year’s experience in aircraft production and/or maintenance control environment

• US Citizen required

• Able to obtain and maintain a Secret level Clearance.
• Willing to subject themselves to random drug tests.
• Valid State driver’s license

• Advanced knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical and associated systems of aircraft as applied to maintenance and modifications.

•FAA IA Inspection Authorization preferred

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software.
• Ability to understand technical language terms and writing skills.
