Senior Product Quality Engineer

What Will You Do?

  • The Senior Product Quality Engineer is responsible for the quality of directed work and the associated results. This position works closely with internal design and engineering teams that need a wide degree of responsibility and latitude is expected. This role will assist in leading and developing processes, establishing and creating standard operating procedures all while working to ensure our raw materials and finished goods are meeting our specifications by utilizing 3rd party and our state of the art laboratory.
    This position will assist in increasing overall customer satisfaction by reducing the frequency and customer impact of quality issues. Contribute regularly within product quality work and communications globally, to ensure conformance to defined workflows and assist in managing system, process, product improvement plans and status. This role will require 50% travel globally; Vietnam, Indonesia, India and Taiwan to name a few. This is a potentially a fast growing opportunity with focus on quality management systems while working with product types such as Upholstery seating and mattresses.

What Do You Need?

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience

  • 5 years’ experience in Quality improvement and process design in a manufacturing environment

  • A basic understanding of Continuous Improvements methodologies

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Effective time management and organizational skills

  • Proficient computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
