NGEN is the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) portion of NGEN, the Leidos team is delivering the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Leidos is supporting the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.

What You'll Get to Do:
Leidos is seeking an Operations Manager to support the SMIT contract as one of the key members of the User Support Services team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific User Support Services staffing, analytics and operations goals and objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Manage team of twelve individuals responsible for providing project management, staffing, customer satisfaction survey, metrics and reporting support for User Support Services.
•Plan, direct, and monitor operational activities of the team.
•Act as chief escalation point of contact for team members regarding operational support issues.
•Leads, directs, and reviews the work of team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
•Responsible for staffing, performance feedback and coaching, and managing administrative duties for direct reports.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
•BS degree and 5+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 3 years of prior relevant experience.
•US Citizen and an acitve DoD Secret Clearance.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
