Senior Finance Operations Analyst

Location: 4900 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144-2302 Job Brief: As part of the Financial Systems Support team within Finance Enablement, responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Active engagement in the Finance Enablement projects, which includes the development, implementation, and on-going maintenance of a new operational procedures related to our financial systems. Assisting in the support of the current financial systems, including Workday and our legacy systems, implementing continuous improvements as needed and learning from and sharing knowledge across the Financial Systems Support team. Collaborating with teammates across Finance, Analytics, and the Lines of Business to manage change, implement improvements, and effectively share status of our operational activities. Essential Job Functions: Partner with colleagues across Finance, Analytics, Lines of Business, and Technology on the buildout of the Workday Accounting Center and Workday Finance Data Hub with additional product data, as well as the implementation of critical ongoing improvements. Translate stakeholder financial system change requests to requirements and effectively communicate those requirements to the financial systems support team. Perform data and process validations throughout the daily and monthly processing cycles for our financial systems. Conduct interactions with line of business stakeholders and collaborate with them to achieve their financial system’s needs. Prioritize ongoing financial system’s related work efforts related to the existing operational tasks and newly developed activities, demonstrating the ability to participate simultaneously on multiple work efforts and high priority activities. Research complex data, process, and reporting issues and effectively summarize findings and recommendations for next steps Work independently and as part of team to offer and implement solutions to achieve optimal business outcomes. Develop thorough understanding of Key’s foundational financial systems, products, and businesses and apply this knowledge to on-going continuous improvement efforts. Perform impact analysis on new accounting and regulatory requirements as well as internal change requests to assess impact on new and existing financial systems data and reporting. Proactively work to continuously improve all processes and procedures. Required Qualifications/Competencies: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data & Analytics, or related field. Strong financial and/or accounting acumen, including analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience dealing with complex and large data sets from multiple sources to support analytical and reporting processes. Passion for continuous improvement especially related to process, accuracy, and details. Interest, willingness, and ability to assimilate information quickly and succinctly. Action-oriented; takes initiative to challenge current processes and implement change. Organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively, often with limited direction. Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met, and quality standards are achieved - ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively. Ability to understand and interpret client requests/needs, and respond to questions with clear and effective answers, and give cohesive presentations. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise including senior executives Proactive and effective communicator - strong verbal and written communication skills & willingness to express opinions and consult with others. Proficient in project management/proven ability to lead cross-functional team efforts. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Preferred Skills: 5+ years of analytical experience in Finance, Business or Related Field. Experience working with Workday Financials, specifically related to Workday Reporting and Workday Accounting Center / Prism support and operations. Experience working with other data querying, reporting, and analytical environments / tools (e.g., Tableau, Oracle OBIEE/OFSAA, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, IBM TM1, Essbase). Knowledge of Key’s foundational financial systems, data warehouses / marts, products, and businesses. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
