Job Description

The Position

As a Supply Chain Operations (SCO) Associate Specialist, you will be accountable for the supply chain processes and activities across the countries/products you will be assigned within the Mid-Europe Cluster.

This includes, but is not limited to, coordinate, analyze and submit the monthly Demand Plan for the products of your portfolio within the cluster. You will also be accountable for the Distribution & Logistics processes and activities across the countries you will be assigned, such as the management of daily operations with our Third Party Logistics Providers (3PLs) and the close collaboration with other departments.

You will be reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager for the market you have been assigned.

Responsibilities

Primary activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily monitoring of interfaces between SAP & 3PL (Batch status, Deliveries, PGIs, IDOCs, ASN, Good Receipts, Inventory Reconciliation, stock adjustments, PODs).

  • Daily monitoring of 3PL activities: management, oversight and troubleshooting of the daily operations.

  • Operational responsibility for all logistics related tasks including batch management (LASD, short expiry), KPIs management (LIFR, VFR or any Global KPI), monthly reporting including Intrastat.

  • Complaints and resolution management of temperature excursions, damaged goods and late deliveries for inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Providing and facilitating problem resolution on any topic related to 3PL services including the management of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).

  • Maintenance of specific local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by undertaking periodic reviews to ensure compliance with company standards and supporting the evolution/updates of the SOPs.

  • Build strong and appropriate professional partnerships with local and regional departments like Quality, OTC and Finance.

  • Support of periodic Transport Lane Risk Assessment including documentation, reporting and record keeping.

  • Overseeing or supporting the yearly physical inventory count and solving audit discrepancies.

  • Provide support in case of Audit and Inspection.

  • Ensure Compliance of the activities, including SoX or any other internal requirement.

  • Own and improve forecast accuracy of the cluster consistently and share the best-practices with your team colleagues to improve the accuracy of the cluster.

  • Prepare and lead monthly Cluster Demand Review meetings to update forecasts.

  • Prepare and support monthly Integrated Business Planning process (IBP) meeting, prepare and share meeting minutes and ensure that actions and follow-ups are made accordingly.

  • Collect and analyze business intelligence from market stakeholders in the 36 months’ timeframe.

  • Identify gaps between financial plans and demand plans and act accordingly. Manage and proactively resolve escalated supply issues via effective coordination and communication in close cooperation with the relevant teams such as Demand Fulfilment, End-to-End, Global Demand Management and local commercial teams.

  • Drive the dialogue each month with local Commercial, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Demand Fulfillment and Supply Planners to ensure a proper stock level and market coverage.

  • Support the demand aspect for product launches, new product introduction / deletion governance.

  • Be the backup of other demand planners when needed, including the manager of the team.

  • Continuous process optimization with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Implementation of projects in cross-functional teams with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Engineer, Supply Chain Master degree, PharmD or equivalent degree with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Six Sigma certification is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain environment

  • Ability productive relationships with different stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Autonomous, pro-active, fast learner

  • Knowledge of IT tools, such as Microsoft Office and SAP.

  • Fluent in English

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

  • French, German is a plus
