What you’ll be doing...

Join the Network Real Estate team. You will acquire network locations for Verizon's best in class wireless network. Drive the end to end real estate and regulatory processes, ensure visible movement of projects through management of key data points. Read, interpret and understand, jurisdictional ordinances (zoning and permitting), master lease agreements, site lease agreements, senate bills, & local laws. Responsible for the oversight and production of construction drawings, surveys, structurals, and other due diligencedocumentation needed for procurment of real estate acquisition. Negotiate on behalf of Verizion working hand in hand with our local communities, vendors and leadership on Verizon's behalf. Ensure that Verizon and its landlords have a meeting of the minds that results in a signed lease benefiting Verizon. Manage vendors and vendor outputs to move the needle by with forecast dates and deliverables, including, purchase order procurement, site selection, environmental assessment, leasing, construction drawings, zoning and permit approvals, on time and budget. Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering is our direct customer. Construction is our downstream partner. We work hand and hand with vendors and cross functional partners to ensure downstream needs are met. Host/attend weekly status calls with project management teams and vendors, driving results through tools (Fuze, Google Sheets SAP, unife).

  • Interpreting and understanding policies and procedures, as well as written agreements, and communicatingthose with internal and external partners.
  • Capture and share key learning, for self/team growth and development.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving a variety of issues.
  • Solution oriented stay focused on solutions that deliver results with just in time service.
  • Outside the box thinking, negotiating with Landlords and Tower companies etux.
  • Work with little supervision in a fast paced ever changing environment, building the best wireless network in the US.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Valid driver's license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Real Estate experience to include, property management, lease document preparation, lease negotiation, lease review, environmental due diligence, site acquisition, zoning, permitting, and title research / curative, with wireless communications company, or utility.
  • Extensive knowledge of FUZE Suite of applications, and how they are used by our teams.
  • Skilled with operating systems and applications including: Windows, MS Office, And Proficiency in office computer applications: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, Macros), Word, PowerPoint, VISIO, Microsoft Project, G-suite.
  • Understanding of financial systems, budget methodology, financial tools and processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with short deadlines and an outlook for success.
  • Effective communicator with high attention to detail, a goal oriented individual with integrity.
  • Ability to analyze work multiple initiatives with high value.
  • Real estate with RF Engineering, Construction, Transport, Equipment Engineering, Head Quarters, OneFiber and Leadership experience.
