Are you ready?Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs the Real World Data Consulting Leader for Watson Health Life Sciences, you will be accountable for consultative selling and delivery of Data Science Studies, which include the following:*Define our data plays to enhance the Life Sciences industry's drug development efforts, clinical priorities, and commercialization strategies with a focus on real world data;*Develop client facing proposals utilizing real world data and articulating in detail how the business objective will be achieved with different type of real-world data elements/ attributes, analytics techniques, data integration approach and visualization output. *Develop analytics and data solutions working closely & coordinating with IBM solutions and IBM Watson Health groups, providing an integrated approach to client*Support and/or lead consultative selling and delivery of Disease Progression, Disease Surveillance and Population Health Studies*Develop and implement quality controls and delivery standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements are met. *Provide technical assistance on data management and use of research data to analyze and interpret findings*Work across a cross functional team to develop and successfully execute a robust, cutting edge data strategy; *Ability to engage across both senior & junior client stakeholders on strategic conversation and ability to deep dive on details as required.GBS10APRequired Technical and Professional ExpertiseMS or Phd in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science, or a related subject area.1+ years of recent consulting experience, delivering projects for Pharmaceutical, biopharma or Med device clients2+ years experience building credible cohort analysis for clinical applications and working with claims, pharmacy, lab and/or study data.3+ years of experience delivering Data Science solutions in life sciences (Pharmaceutical / Biotech)1+ years experience designing data science studies leveraging Phyton, R Studio, SaS, SPARK or similar technologies, across a broad range of data including standard disease surveillance and program business processes (IT and other)Significant experience utilizing advanced statistical methods and algorithms (examples: clustering, regression, decision tress, nearest neighbor, neural networks). Extensive knowledge of predictive modeling algorithms and frameworksPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise*Deep experience with real-world data, specifically EMR/EHR data, disease progression or instrumental in developing a clinical decision support systems*Experience mapping out what specific data sources are required for patient journey mapping and longitudinal patient analytics. *Demonstrated experience developing a data sourcing strategy for data sciences studies in healthcare or life sciences market.*Presents and interprets the results of analytic findings, including visualizations of statistical analyses and disease models.*Prepares reports and provides technical assistance on data management and use of research data to analyze and interpret findings.NAAbout Business UnitIBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
