Real World Evidence Product Owner for ConvergeHEALTH, Deloitte Consulting, LLP

This role will be aligned to the product management team of Deloitte's ConvergeHEALTH Miner product suite. As a product Owner you will play a critical role in designing, building, supporting and delivering Miner™ platform that helps life science companies support their evidence strategies by providing enterprise data management and analytics capabilities for information generated throughout their evidence lifecycle from translational research to clinical trials to real world evidence (RWE).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with product development team on product build lifecycles, assist in tasks necessary to make a developed product market ready
• Play a key hands-on role in in the agile software development lifecycle i.e., writing user stories, grooming backlogs, participating in daily stand-ups, running sprint review/sprint showcases and other similar activities
• Develop product collateral such as presentations, product documentation e.g. training material, user guides etc. and product demonstrations.
• Take a high-level idea or requirement, and engage with various stakeholders to scope out the idea (including detailed requirements, mockups, prototypes, etc.) to a level of detail needed for engineering teams to go through development
• Engage with clients as a product subject matter advisor to answer product related questions and facilitate working sessions

• A BA/BS in Computer Science, Informatics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or a related Quantitative field
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in product management or analytics role in healthcare or life science vertical
• Demonstrated experience in a hands-on role utilizing agile software development methodologies

• Working knowledge of health care datasets including electronic health records, claims, clinical data registries, patient generated health data etc.
• Have a solid understanding of healthcare data standards such as OMOP, SDTM, FHIR etc. and medical terminologies (e.g., ICD 9, ICD 10, RxNorm, CPT, HCPCS etc.)
• Experience in healthcare analytics using either the self-service tools, or advanced analytics tools such as SQL, R, Python etc.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly self-motivated, energetic, passionate team-oriented personality and working style
• Willingness to travel (25%) periodically - as future will allow given current COVID19 restrictions
• Limited Immigration Sponsorship may be available

• Experience with various methods for epidemiological studies (i.e., retrospective cohort study, case control study, confounder adjustments, regression models etc.) or HEOR methods (Comparative effectiveness analysis etc.)
• Use of agile software development productivity tools (i.e., JIRA, Confluence)
