BMS is seeking to recruit Site Procurement Sr. Manager for Capital & Indirect Services, located at our location in Devens, Massachusetts. Reporting to the Associate Director, Site Procurement Lead, the Sr. Manager will lead all sourcing efforts for Capital, Engineering and all Indirect Services, including relevant projects/activities.

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Maintain/Support continuity of current activities, products, and services (Indirect Services as well as Capital/Engineering) – while supporting operations at the Devens location by managing suppliers and engaging directly with site stakeholders as well as global category teams.

  • Support Capital Investment strategies & also ensure compliance/governance on all major capital projects. The individual will be instrumental in monitoring/ensuring cost savings including alternate sourcing of materials for cost savings/avoidance across all sites.

  • Sr. Manager will lead specific implementation of global projects/processes (Lab Supplies Products/Services, Personal Protection PPE) and any/all supporting activities to ensure timely execution of the global strategy.

  • Support site management and engineering teams on supplier engagement during construction and operational build of ongoing projects and strategic projects thereafter.

  • Support implementation of key Indirect projects/policies that might include Energy, Contractors, MRO, facilities, Laundered Garments and more.

  • Lead/support site-based risk assessments (Indirect & Engineering Services) and prioritize overall business continuity process engagement with the global team.

  • Contract management, creation of legal documents and templates, supporting LOIs, SOWs and MSAs across the site and regional network. Maintains timely control of documents and data to assure accurate retention of records and audit compliance and governance.

  • Support/lead Supplier Relationship Management programs as requested and aligned with Category Leads.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in Procurement, Facilities & Engineering Operations and/or Production. Strong experience in Capital/Engineering is preferred.

  • Experience using ARIBA required. Experience with iCertis helpful.

  • Procurement skills such as developing relationships with suppliers, expediting, prioritizing and negotiating deliveries, analyzing and reporting on supplier performance.

  • Contract engagement, legal document orientation, knowledge of key legal variables.
