Global communication lead for People Services (PS) to provide global expertise from strategy through deployment for all operational communication sourced from and through People Services for audiences that range from global, country and specific audience group level. Essential to this role is the collaboration, guidance and communications support provided to PS leads across the Americas, European (EMEA) and Asia Pacific markets, including cross functional partnership with IT special projects such as integration of audiences due to M&A. Communication content spans business as usual, new launches and improvements and triage.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Primary communications partner to VP, People Services for strategy and facilitation of outreach to the BMS workforce specific to People Services-owned components of the HR operating model
  • Reports to and partners with Director, Total Rewards Global Communications Strategy & Engagement to collaborate and align with principles of outreach
  • Oversight of all communication outreach from the people.services@bms.com email account.
  • Point of escalation regarding—and ownership of process, content and deployment for—communication requests across all capability centers
  • Works independently on most deliverables with significant collaboration and partnership required from People Services process experts
  • Manages key partnership and relationships with all People Services senior leads and regional capability center experts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required with 7 years of relevant experience
  • Communication expertise and experience in reaching audiences across regions, languages and cultures
  • Understanding of operational messaging to achieve behaviors needed generally for action and understanding.
  • Relationship skills to manage priorities across stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver content across time zones
  • Ability to develop and delivery messaging with sense of urgency and appropriateness to audience needs and actions requires from messaging
  • Strategic lens across content delivery to ensure work aligns with principled communications approach and continuously evolves outreach to meet audience needs
