Work You'll Do

As a Senior Manager, you will use your knowledge of and experience with HR strategy, capability, and service delivery to optimize business results and customer experience by:

  • Leading all aspects of the project, including monitoring and identifying any project issues to mitigate risk while ensuing exemplary delivery of work
  • Cultivating and maintaining long term relationships with clients to become a "go-to" resource for HR strategy knowledge
  • Staying well-informed on current Human Capital leading practices and market trends
  • Utilizing your leadership experience to mentor, train and develop other members of the HRS&S practice
  • Leading business development efforts, including Statements of Work (SOW), proposal development, and client presentations
  • Leading practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.
  • Building your brand within the firm and in the market for the strong HR Strategy & Capability knowledge you possess
  • Championing and supporting a culture of diversity and inclusiveness for Deloitte practitioners

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions & processes, with experience in multiple of the following areas: HR Strategy, HR Employee Experience, HR Operating Models, HR Process Improvement, HR Service Delivery
  • Experience in carrying a business development quota for consulting work, ramping up pursuit teams and leading end-to-end business development pursuits
  • Experience in project planning, budget oversight and staffing of project teams including time management and quality assurance for large complex clients/projects
  • Demonstrated confidence and maturity to work with senior executives
  • Demonstrated high degree of emotional intelligence and cultural awareness to effectively manage global clients and diverse project teams
  • Experience in leading and driving RFPs, RFIs, scoring and evaluating products and services
  • Experience driving team performance resulting in alignment with project vision and strategy
  • Experience in mentoring, training and developing members of the team and participating in a performance review process
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:
  • Big 4 consulting experience
  • Well-developed industry alignment (Consumer, Financial Services, Life Science & Healthcare, Energy, Resources & Industrial, and/or Technology, Media & Telecommunications)
  • Agile and creative mindset when problem solving and troubleshooting on client issues
  • Advanced degree in related specialization area
  • Demonstrated interest in a profession in Human Resources through professional organizations, coursework, certifications, conference attendance, etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel).
