Join an outstanding Sales Operations team that provides support to over 1500 salespeople across the U.S and Canada! Behind every successful salesperson is a team of professionals who use data to ensure success. In this role, you will create new and better reports to turn data into information.

What you will do:

  • Leverage technical understanding and business acumen to translate high-level business requirements into technical and functional specifications to develop reporting & analytics for Senior Sales Management
  • Utilize Microsoft Power BI to create/deliver actionable dashboards, management reports, ad hoc analysis relating to salesforce, hospital, surgeon and field usage, etc.
  • Create/deliver executive sales dashboards for monthly review by Senior Sales Management.
  • Partner with IS to ensure system and data accuracy and accommodate user access requests.
  • Partner with internal business partners to support their development of Power BI reports. Govern data appropriately, provide guidance on data usage and be the primary source of validation for teams outside of Sales Operations
  • Support annual national sales meeting process.
  • Calculate monthly field sales performance and facilitate Senior Sales Management recognition tools.
  • Audit current processes; identify and implement methods to improve data accuracy and ease of report use. Recommend and implement accuracy, efficiency and productivity enhancements. Audit existing systems, determine and communicate gaps and opportunities to leadership.
  • Utilize data to identify trends and make recommendations around those trends.
  • Partner with Sales Information analysts to reduce manual reporting through use of Microsoft Power BI
  • Execute on defined road map of reports/visuals to be built into Power BI. Support ad hoc requests through Power BI when applicable.

What you need

  • B.A. or B.S. in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or other related field of study .
  • Prefer 2+ years’ experience in sales reporting and analysis
  • Prefer experience with BI tools i.e. Power Bi & Crystal
  • Develop and provide Senior Sales Management with all required and requested sales reporting.
  • Compile, audit and administer monthly, quarterly and annual Sales Reports that measure key performance indicators of the sales force.
  • Create ad hoc Sales Reports relating to hospital, surgeon and field usage.
  • Work with IT department to ensure data accuracy and accommodate user access requests.
  • Track field sales changes monthly and ensure data is current in all Power BI reports.
  • Calculate monthly field sales performance and facilitate Senior Sales Management recognition tools.
  • Audit current processes and continually strive to improve accuracy and ease of use.
  • Effective expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, VBA and SQL language minimum
  • Formal training and/or certification in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively over phone or Skype.
  • Must be able to generate and explain detailed guidelines and procedures.
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve problems using independent judgment.
