Summary:
The Regional Marketing and Channel Strategy Lead will be responsible to lead key strategic work across Oncology thought leaders, community, and institutional channels. The position will report directly to the Head of US Oncology and will have as direct reports: Director of Oncology Regional Marketing; Director of Channel Strategy and a project manager. Close collaboration with the tumor leads and the cross-functional matrix is a requirement for success. In this role, and through the leadership of his or her direct reports.

The Mission of the Regional Marketing and Channel Strategy team is to deliver streamlined, coordinated efforts across the community and institutional setting creating a superior customer experience via engagement opportunities, innovative content creation, training and coaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach, mentor a team of 12 and lead broader organization on thought leader, community and institutional business opportunities.

  • Oversee the Community Oncology Strategy and Marketing while elevating and differentiating the Oncology portfolio across tumors by focusing on key customer customers in the Community setting including Oncology Networks, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), and Health Informatics Technology (HIT).

  • Oversee Regional Marketing team focused on delivering enhanced interactions and business results through amplifying our Thought Leaders voices by:

  • TL Engagement

  • Regional Marketing Initiatives

  • Speaker Training

  • Regional Insight Generation

  • Become a key member of the BMS I-O Leadership team

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required, with MBA or other Advanced Degree Preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 4 years of marketing experience.

  • Oncology experience strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record demonstrating breadth and depth across marketing competencies, behaviors and exemplary achievement of performance objectives

  • Strong leadership skills to lead/contribute to the overall strategic planning, and execution of key deliverables

  • Prior experience managing & developing high performing teams preferred.

  • Experience in mobilizing matrix team members, embracing teamwork, and project management within a cross functional environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to effectively and efficiently drive performance are required
