Workforce Strategy and Innovation Senior Consultant - Multiple Locations

Work you'll do

As a Workforce Strategy and Innovation Senior Consultant, you will assist the practice by helping drive the growth of the business through commercialization of new solutions and thought leadership, working alongside senior leadership in Deloitte's Workforce Strategies practice to drive differentiated perspectives and solutions in the market to grow our business and enhance Deloitte's reputation.

A strategic and analytic mindset, program and project management experience, domain expertise in workforce strategies, and the ability to develop crisp storylines are critical to success in this role. Those with backgrounds in Human Capital consulting, thought leadership development, or new solution development in the Human Capital domain may also be considered.

  • Strategic planning & program management: Works alongside senior leadership within the firm to help orchestrate and manage a Future of Work commercialization program, helping with coordinated support of new solution project teams to grow (e.g., coordinating upskilling of sales and delivery practitioners, connecting solution teams to other parts of the firm, managing cadence of meetings and integration across solution teams, overseeing centralized budget coordination and resourcing).
  • Commercialization of new solutions: Work alongside practitioners to commercialize new solutions for Human Capital and Future of Work, and develop sales collateral, consulting methodologies and tools, and internal communications to help practitioners understand how to sell and deliver new solutions.
  • Strategic storylines and thought leadership: Create clear, compelling communications (in the form of PowerPoint presentations, narratives, and more) using the power of storytelling. Develop thought leadership (including secondary and original research and writing) to develop articles, blogs, and other compelling external content to continue Deloitte's leading market position in Future of Work and Human Capital.

As a Workforce Strategy and Innovation Senior Consultant within the Workforce Transformation practice, you will focus on increasing the business impact of new technologies, platforms, processes, and systems. By leveraging these tools to the fullest, we optimize the capabilities in Workforce Strategies, Talent Acquisition, and Analytics needed to deliver for the future, enabling our solutions to remain fresh in the context of today's ever-evolving business demands.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years experience in workforce functions and processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Workforce Strategy and Solutions, Workforce Capabilities, Talent Acquisition, and/or Workforce and Talent Analytics
  • 2+ years experience supporting workforce strategy projects and teams
  • 1+ years experience supporting clients
  • Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:
  • 4+ years external consulting experience
  • 2+ years experience with project management, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workforce functions & processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Workforce Strategy & Solutions, Workforce Capabilities, Talent Acquisition, and/or Workforce & Talent Analytics
  • Experience managing staff and leading small to medium sized teams
  • Strong client presence with project management, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to succeed in team-based or independent environments
  • Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and manage client relationships and develop business
  • Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence
