Work you'll do/Responsibilities

Responsible to maintain all aspects of an organization's global network systems including software, hardware, and respective provider services.

  • The Global Network Lead is responsible for our overall network/telecom across multiple games editions. This role will need to have traditional network design skills as well as significant experience in working directly with the chosen telecom service providers.
  • Work with the event organizing committee to define the RFP for Network/Telecom services and assist in choosing the provider
  • After selection, the Global Network Lead will work across all technology teams (Deloitte, governing bodies, other Service Providers) to interface with the Telecom Service Provider
  • Work with the Telecom Service Provider to assure that the solution and operations are aligned to the standards and principles of the Technology Project
  • Supervise a small team but wield broad influence over a technology component that touches every aspect of the solution

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Technology Leader with 15+ years of experience in enterprise networks and working with or for Telecom service providers
  • Specific major global sporting event experience with solid understanding of the related ecosystem of players, delivery expectations, and timelines
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Significant international travel (25%- 50% - periodic trips to Switzerland, US, and future host cities; regular travel to host city not every week, but some extended stays)
  • This role will work across countries, Deloitte Member Firms, and in collaboration with our Third-Party Partners
