The IT Senior Solution Lead, SAP Sales & Billing is responsible for design, configuration, and testing activities for Stryker’s SAP S4 platform within Sales & Billing process areas. These responsibilities will be distributed across Projects and Release Cycles. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for the delivery of approved projects through the project management framework. The Sr. Technical Solution Lead needs to be able to produce detailed technical documents, configure and/or develop within the assigned applications and understand the overall design and architecture of a platform and deliver the end to end technical solution. In this role the candidate will partner with Business and Technical teams to understand the overall business need, work with technical partner to create high-level solution specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms. This candidate will play a key role in transitioning the knowledge of the new/enhanced capabilities (including technical aspects) to the Service Delivery Team(s).

What you will do:

  • Perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.
  • Responsible for designing and implementing SAP Sales and Billing solution to support Stryker’s Commercial needs.
  • Technical Design, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within Commercial Landscape and application stack.
  • Review and Govern business process documents, application and technical specifications, test plans and cutover plans for go-live sites.
  • Collaborate with other Global ERP Program teams, IT Business Partners, Build and Run teams, IT Vendors, various Infrastructure teams, and Business Deployment teams.
  • Support run/sustain teams to solve new business needs and govern solution to be consistent with Commercial Global Template.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance, and technical efficiencies.
  • Be able to support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processes
  • Recommend approaches to optimize/tune systems performance.
  • Develop both system and technical documentation.
  • Work with other IT teams along with business teams to deliver business solutions
  • Partner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and translating into solutions within an application and/or application stack
  • Lead and mentor Solution Analysts and IT vendor resources within the team and provide oversight and guidance.
  • Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities, and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables.
  • Special projects/assignments/assessment as required.

What you Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of ERP/IT professional experience with ERP full life-cycle implementations, operation support and demonstrated project implementation experience required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of SAP project implementation experience in SAP Sales & Distribution, Billing (including Intercompany & Service) and/or Advanced Return management process.
  • In depth understanding of the SAP Application Architecture & Technology including S4/Hana preferred.
  • Strong Integration experience with SAP upstream/downstream processes (master data, logistics/supply chain) and non-SAP external systems preferred.
  • Good understanding of RICEF and customizations in a complex environment required.
  • Experience in leading teams of vendor resources for projects preferred.
  • Experience and demonstrated understanding of global system rollouts – strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning preferred.
  • Knowledge of and ability to drive IS methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Development is preferred.
