Associate Director, Eliquis US Professional Marketing

Summary:
You will play a key role on the US brand team for ELIQUIS (apixaban), an anticoagulant indicated to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) and for the treatment of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism (VTE). This individual will have an opportunity to shape the in-line strategy and execution in the US for the use of ELIQUIS. This person will report to the US Professional Marketing Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Lead professional promotion strategy and execution for ELIQUIS with a focus on Real World Data
Lead matrix teams (market research, insights & analytics, commercial operations, sales, sales training, promotional review, customer engagement and others) to identify new sources of growth and to develop field and non-personal promotion initiatives to activate these growth opportunities, helping more appropriate patients to benefit from ELIQUIS
Lead the development of the indication strategy and execution plan for 2023
Partner closely with Medical, HEOR, Sales, Worldwide and other key internal stakeholders
Partner closely with Alliance counterparts to achieve alignment
Manage and support agency partners to deliver excellence in process and output
Qualifications & Experience
BA/BS required with MBA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of marketing experience
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative attitude
Skilled at strategy, customer understanding, analytics, and consistently achieves excellence in execution
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to drive results in a matrix organization
Acts with a sense of passion to help patients and with accountability, urgency and innovation
Experienced at working with sales teams to achieve customer objectives or prior sales experience
Strong understanding of non-personal promotion
Understanding of the cardiology and anticoagulation space is preferred
Alliance or co-promote experience preferred
Attention to detail is critical
Knowledge and experience in navigating the regulatory approval process and other relevant codes of practice in the pharmaceutical industry
