Summary:

You will play a key role on the US brand team for ELIQUIS (apixaban), an anticoagulant indicated to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) and for the treatment of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism (VTE). This individual will have an opportunity to shape the in-line strategy and execution in the US for the use of ELIQUIS. This person will report to the US Professional Marketing Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead professional promotion strategy and execution for ELIQUIS with a focus on Real World Data

  • Lead matrix teams (market research, insights & analytics, commercial operations, sales, sales training, promotional review, customer engagement and others) to identify new sources of growth and to develop field and non-personal promotion initiatives to activate these growth opportunities, helping more appropriate patients to benefit from ELIQUIS

  • Lead the development of the indication strategy and execution plan for 2023

  • Partner closely with Medical, HEOR, Sales, Worldwide and other key internal stakeholders

  • Partner closely with Alliance counterparts to achieve alignment

  • Manage and support agency partners to deliver excellence in process and output

Qualifications & Experience

  • BA/BS required with MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience

  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative attitude

  • Skilled at strategy, customer understanding, analytics, and consistently achieves excellence in execution

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to drive results in a matrix organization

  • Acts with a sense of passion to help patients and with accountability, urgency and innovation

  • Experienced at working with sales teams to achieve customer objectives or prior sales experience

  • Strong understanding of non-personal promotion

  • Understanding of the cardiology and anticoagulation space is preferred

  • Alliance or co-promote experience preferred

  • Attention to detail is critical

  • Knowledge and experience in navigating the regulatory approval process and other relevant codes of practice in the pharmaceutical industry
