Summary:

The Associate Director, worldwide Commercial Deucravacitinib, will play an important role on the WW Commercial Immunology & Fibrosis team in ensuring launch readiness of Deucravacitinib in PsO. Deucravacitinib is currently in Phase 3 development for the treatment of moderate to severe Plaque Psoriasis (PsO) and in Phase 2 development for a variety of other immune-mediated diseases (e.g., Crohn’s Disease, Lupus and Psoriatic Arthritis). This asset is expected to be a multi-billion dollar product over the next few years and will be a leading asset for BMS’ Immunology & Fibrosis portfolio. The first launch will be in PsO and will be BMS’ first launch in the dermatology space in over 20 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and execution: Lead the development and execution of business strategy and tactics for customer experience (CX)

  • Lead bi-annual interchange meetings to engage commercialization colleagues in markets to ensure pull-through of brand strategy.

  • Partner in development of launch initiatives to maximize reach of Deucravacitinib promotion and establish leadership in dermatology

  • Data and insights: Partner with BI&A and key markets to conduct market research and real-time monitoring and evaluation of competitive products and marketplace dynamics to identify insights and opportunities for growth, as well as to ensure seamless and agile execution and refinement of global plans as needed.

  • Organization alignment: Build strong alliances with medical, BI&A, VAP, key markets, PREP, agencies and other key business partners. Drive cross functional awareness, alignment and accountability to the Deucravacitinib strategies and tactics.

  • Partner with markets to oversee key elements of the global implementation plan and to ensure launch readiness

  • Budget management: Make strategic recommendations for investment and manage budgets to commitment

  • Cultural contributions: Contribute to a culture of collaboration/team spirit, innovation and personal development as part of the WW I&F Team


Qualifications:

  • BA/BS is required; MBA is preferred

  • 4 years pharmaceutical experience is required, including at least 2 years of successful and progressive experience in Marketing, Analytics or Sales

  • Immunology experience is preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to flex communication style based on audience

  • Leadership skills within a large matrix and the ability to navigate complex business structures

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and align and engage both internal and external stakeholders

  • Intellectual curiosity, comfort with uncertainty and demonstrated ability for strong decision-making under tight timelines and independently determining appropriate action where precedent may not exist

  • Self-starter with a track record of challenging the status quo and delivering results

  • Ability to travel up to 30% travel
