Family Violence Prevention and Services

The Department of Children and Families’ Division on Women (DOW) seeks a qualified individual for a Government Representative 2 position that functions as a Program Coordinator. This position is located in Trenton, NJ and may be eligible to work remotely for up to two days in a calendar week.

The Coordinator will work in collaboration with other DCF Divisions and external stakeholders to promote the administrative and analytical work for planning and implementation of the Health and Human Services American Rescue Plan (ARP) grant funded projects for the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) with a particular focus on housing and supportive services. This is a grant

funded position.


Anticipated tasks of this position include:


* Provide subject-matter expertise and assist with program planning, development and implementation of identified priorities.

* Coordinate program activities and provide training and technical assistance to external stakeholders and community partners on housing and other supportive services.

* Cultivate relationships with housing entities and other community supports, and facilitates goal-oriented stakeholder collaboratives

* Provide training and technical assistance to ensure best practices among partners for systems building and program development.

* Collaborates with consultants and internal research partners to support programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes and evaluation.

Utilizes feedback loops and other communication strategies for consistent clear communication among various teams and partners.

* Other duties as deemed necessary.



REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors degree and at least 5 years experience or Masters degree and at least 2 years experience.


EXPERIENCE: Successful candidates will have at least two (2) years of experience in project management, including planning and implementation of the grant funded projects. A focus on sexual assault, domestic violence, or related field is preferred and housing knowledge is a plus. Must possess strong coordination skills and be detail-oriented with an ability to deliver accurate, comprehensive results consistently. Ability to multitask with ease, prioritizing appropriately. Ability to work independently and collaborate in participatory evaluation with various program staff and stakeholders. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

SALARY: $75,000 per year.
