Associate Program Manager, Marketing & Sales

Job Summary:

Provide marketing, sales, and product/program education support to Stryker Orthopaedics’ customers. Participate in the development, recommendation, and execution of strategic plans relating to department-specific projects and programs.

  • Partner with management to support, coordinate and execute marketing initiatives and communications activities.

  • Identify, build and maintain strong working relationships with key individuals in customer/industry organizations (e.g., doctors, nurses, etc.).

  • Work with management to understand and employ established processes and tools; serve as advocate for key processes and programs.

  • Establish realistic production timelines and budgets.

  • Monitor projects to ensure that they are delivered on time, on target, within budget and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide accurate and timely communications support to project initiators.

  • Prepare program materials, present and communicate with participants at events and group meetings.

  • Research, collect and analyze market data; provide feedback and recommend program enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or other related field of study.

  • 0 - 2 years marketing or public relations experience, preferably in either a healthcare or consumer product industry

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and detail orientation

  • Demonstrated verbal & written communication skills

  • Experience managing projects, including the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience evaluating customer needs and appropriately addressing those needs with either global (in Product Marketing) OR local (in HCI or U.S. Sales) marketing, sales & customer education efforts

  • Experience as active participant in strategic planning; demonstrated success in executing to plan

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing situations

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a business team

  • Demonstrated ability to develop an employee business processes

  • In HCI and Field Sales: applied understanding of the technical aspects of graphic production
