Assists with selling, marketing, clinical demonstrations and promotions of Stryker PRT (Patient Resuscitation and Treatment) products including; Evacuation chair, LIFEPAK monitor/defibrillators and automated external defibrillators (AEDs), LUCAS Chest Compression Systems, the LIFENET System, HeartSine AEDs, ProCare Services and Flex Financial Services in accordance with budgeted objectives along with targeting specific objectives for Stryker Medical's businesses within an assigned geography.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Promotes Stryker Medical products to doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel while providing excellent customer service and developing the customer relationship
  • Following extensive product training, the employee must demonstrate their product line expertise and be able to tailor Stryker’s promotional message based upon knowledge of the customer, advise on appropriate product selection, answer customer questions about product functionality and distinguish Stryker products from those of Stryker’s competitors
  • Educates and informs healthcare professionals regarding the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products, product functionality and updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs
  • Responsible for meeting targeted annual budget objectives within an assigned geography Drives Equipment Usage Agreement (EUA) compliance with customers
  • Assists or leads hospital equipment surveys
  • Assists in post-sale implementation and training for all Stryker Medical products to ensure customer adoption of and satisfaction with Stryker products
  • Focuses on customer satisfaction by demonstrated teamwork and empowerment
  • Independently and expeditiously solves customer issues using a consultative approach, operating with honesty and integrity
  • Utilizes proper software and technological tools to maintain proper records
  • May assist in the preparation and operation of tradeshows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
  • Keeps Account Managers and Regional Manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis
  • Must understand and adhere to all facility protocols and pertinent OSHA guidelines when conducting a product evaluation
  • Must adhere rigidly to all GMP policies and procedures as stipulated by the FDA, AdvaMed, and other governing bodies
  • Work hours may vary depending upon the needs of the customers

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Must be PC literate and have experience working with Microsoft Office
  • Must possess excellent time management skills with the ability to use independent judgement effectively

Physical Requirements

  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Must be able to communicate with large groups of people
  • Must be able to communicate telephonically
  • Must be able to use common office equipment (e.g. fax, modem, calculator, PC, etc.)
  • Must be able to drive an automobile
