What you'll do

You're responsible for creating data-driven solutions to solve marketing challenges that drive growth through personalized and relevant customer experiences. You have a proven track record of selling end-to-end customer data strategy solutions, connecting the dots from the client challenge, to the data needed, to the technology to support, and ultimately to the downstream systems required for driving personalization across Marketing, Advertising and Commerce channels. You will be a senior leader within the Experience Analytics and Data Science practice, driving Sales, working closely with Senior Managers and Partners across the firm (and industries), especially those that focus on Advertising, Marketing, Commerce, Search, and overall digital transformation. You'll be the person in the room during the pitch and leading the pursuit team, including materials management, presentation, pricing, and scope of work creation. And you will oversee the connection into delivery for those engagements once sold, seeing the sales cycle through from pursuit to activation - including continued client relationship building and opportunity identification.

You'll join the fastest growing marketing and advertising offering at Deloitte, helping us maintain our Sales velocity, structuring unique scopes, and delivering solutions to our clients' most complex problems.

Qualifications

Required - What you bring

  • You have 10+ years of experience in solving key challenges across the end-to-end customer experience, in that you understand key data strategies, what data is needed, the technologies that support, and how it drives more personalized experiences
  • You have as deep of an expertise in analytics and data science, as you do MarTech and AdTech (and databases and CDPs), including thought leadership on the latest technologies that can help power connected data and bringing the full CX to life - from initial client challenge to channel execution
  • You have experience building key relationships with experts across the end-to-end connected process; and know when and how to pull them into client conversations to help demonstrate the depth of our experience
  • You have 5-7 years pitching new clients, including in-person presentations - and a proven track record of winning
  • You can speak to the full sales cycle from initial qualification through to scope writing/deal close
  • You bring a perspective on next-gen technology, data, and measurement ideas and know how to sell these ideas to clients to help solve their biggest challenges, rooted in Marketing, Advertising, and Commerce
  • You have experience selling Analytics and Data Science managed services work and know how to structure unique deals to drive seamless delivery - and ongoing Sales in the future
  • You've worked with a Product team to understand IP/assets created, know how to leverage assets to solve client challenges, and position assets through pitches/selling new work
  • You have the ability to offer and defend solutions in Analytics and Data Science based on experience and best practices
  • You are an expert storyteller and have an expertise in positioning Analytics and Data Science solutions for a variety of end audiences (e.g., CMO, CDO, etc.), across a variety of industries
  • You have a collaborative working style and have built strong relationships
  • You have extremely strong project management skills and the ability to triage and prioritize competing needs
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Comfortable interacting regularly with technical subject matter experts and business owners of varying organizational levels
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now, or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
