If so, lets talk.Your Role and Responsibilities**Who you are:**Cross Software Client Technical Architect, is an individual performing role, who will be responsible to provide relevant industry domain understanding while gathering client requirements and lend technical consultative support for software product sales opportunities. In this role you will be a hands-on, technical subject matter expert that will work closely with our sales team, clients and / or System Integration / Business Partners to identify client needs and propose effective solutions. You assume overall technical leadership and responsibility for designing solutions that leverage the capabilities across the entire IBM SW portfolio and drive software sales revenue. Architects provide leadership of technical activities during the sales cycle, set a vision for customers, lead requirements gathering and analysis, design solutions, facilitate demos & presentations and work as an integral part of a sales team to drive customer success. It is a customer facing role and the candidate must be comfortable and confident working with Client Line of Business Executives and be able to work effectively in a collaborative role with IBM sales teams and system integration / business partners**What you'll do:**Some of the key job responsibilities of Software Client Architect are+ Positioning IBM value through architecture discussions and workshops+ Setting the technical strategy for sales opportunities+ Leading requirements gathering and analysis+ Develop technical solution and briefs using standard design methodology and tools.+ Design client solutions employing cross functional IBM SW offerings+ Preparing and presenting client-facing presentations and whiteboard discussions, organize Demos & POCs.+ Developing ROI and economic models to justify investments in the proposed solutions stacks.+ Working as an integral part of a sales team and coordinate with them to pursue sales cycles+ Establishing trusted advisor relationships with CxO and decision makers+ Preparing sales presentations with solution offerings, design, case studies and proof points.+ Preparing SW account plan with sales team and develop IBM Point of view.+ Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and technical architects to devise client solutions.+ Determine technical risk and issues and suggest mitigation options.+ Keep up to date on emerging industry trends & technologies.+ Develop Technical solution design using industry standards methodology and tools for innovative solutions.**How we'll help you grow:**+ You'll have access to all the technical and management training courses you need to become the expert you want to be.+ You'll learn directly from expert developers in the field; our team leads love to mentor.+ You have the opportunity to work in many different areas to figure out what really excites you.+ You'll have a well-respected, pre-defined career path that goes all the way up to Distinguished Engineer who become part of IBM's Technical Council that advises/shapes strategy in terms of IBM's technical offeringsRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ Bachelor Degree in Engineering/MCA In Computer Science+ Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT industry out of which 3-5 years of working experience as Technical Architect+ Should have experience in designing technical solution preferably for banking & financial services industry+ Should have demonstrated client engagement experience in complex solution design that consists of at least 2 or more functional areas viz.
