Job Summary

As a Research Engineer, you will perform many daily duties, including:
- Performing design, development, and reviewing tasks in specific areas under close supervision.
- Designing a portion or section of an analysis or design review.
- Assisting in generation of specifications and engineering data.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and correspondence.
- Establishing and maintaining a filing system or databases as needed for tracking project status.
- Developing, maintaining, and producing technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
- Interfacing with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
- Verifying and complying with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
- Performing all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related scientific field and 1 year of job-related experience or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of computer systems and integrated software application programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel for the role, as needed (estimated 10%).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance before hire.
- Must be a United States citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
