What you'll be doing...

As a Data Science Manager on the Consumer Digital Marketing and Base Management - Pricing Revenue Generation and Loyalty Team, you will be an individual contributor.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and recommending acquisition, revenue, and retention opportunities within the Consumer base.
  • Working with a large dataset environment, solving complex technical problems with the assistance of other subject-matter specialists, and partnering with other teams to drive Verizon's initiatives.
  • Will be responsible for targets on improving various KPIs through personalized data-driven recommendations. You will accomplish this by identifying influenceable cohorts of customers and executing targeted marketing campaigns to drive desired outcomes.
  • Identifying business problems and developing analytic techniques to provide solutions to external teams.
  • Identifying opportunities, size potential gains, and present actionable plans.

  • Working with other business units within Verizon, vendors, and executives to represent and drive our organization's strategy.
  • Using data visualization and other data-gathering methods to either provide internal strategic direction or guide decisions for other teams.

What we're looking for...

You have a passion for leveraging data to drive real-world business results. You can take complex data stories, simplify and effectively present them in a manner that your audience understands and acts on the insights. You thrive in a fast paced environment, are good with numbers and you love to dig into data to find the story. You are detail-oriented and know how to focus on what really matters. You enjoy aligning various work streams to ensure the same vision and goal is achieved.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in analytics, strategic marketing, planning, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with research, analytical, and critical thinking.
